FAQ

Questions we are asked

Find answers to common questions about how Imuka Access works, what we offer, and how to get started.

What types of businesses and opportunities do you support?
Business owners, buyers, investors, partners, institutions and program sponsors — primarily in agribusiness and manufacturing, with adjacent sectors considered depending on the assignment. Work ranges from a single introduction to a managed transaction process or a program delivered over months.
Which countries and sectors do you cover?
Kenya and Uganda are the current focus markets, with agribusiness and manufacturing as priority sectors. Other Sub-Saharan African markets and sectors are considered case by case.
How does the brokerage or intermediary process work?
After an initial confidential conversation, we assess the requirement, identify and screen relevant parties, and coordinate structured introductions. The exact steps, documentation and timeline vary by assignment and jurisdiction.
How are anonymous deals handled?
Public listings carry no name, owner, address, customer or financial detail. An interested party submits an enquiry against a deal reference, is reviewed and qualified, and further information is released only with the owner's authorisation and, where appropriate, agreed confidentiality terms.
Is the information I share kept confidential?
Yes. Information shared in connection with a business, program or opportunity is treated as confidential and is not disclosed without your authorisation. Anything published about a live deal is anonymised first.
Do you guarantee transactions, partners or funding?
No. Imuka Access facilitates qualified introductions and coordination. We do not guarantee that a transaction will complete, that a partner will be found, or that funding will be approved — those outcomes depend on the parties and their own decisions.
Do you provide legal, tax or investment advice?
No. Imuka Access does not provide legal, tax, investment, accounting or other regulated financial advice. Clients should engage their own qualified advisers, and we work alongside them.
How are consulting and program-management engagements structured?
Each engagement is scoped individually around the objective, the jurisdictions involved, the timeline and the level of support required — from advisory input through to hands-on implementation. Scope, deliverables and commercial terms are agreed in writing before work begins.
What information should I provide when I get in touch?
A clear statement of your objective, the sector and country involved, your timeline, and any constraints we should know about. For a deal enquiry, include the deal reference and a short note on your background and capacity. Further detail may be requested once the enquiry is reviewed.
What happens after I submit an enquiry?
The enquiry is reviewed and routed to the relevant next step — usually a follow-up conversation, a request for further detail, or a referral to the appropriate service. Where a deal brief is requested, the qualification steps described in the deals section apply.
