Are you a female entrepreneur looking to scale your green business? The Green Businesses and Jobs for the Green Transformation – Uganda program is designed to support female-led enterprises with business training, coaching, and access to finance.

This initiative is part of the WE4D (Promoting Women’s Employment for Africa’s Green Transformation) Program, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in partnership with the European Union and Norway. The program is implemented by GIZ in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development (MGLSD) and Stanbic Business Incubator Limited (SBIL) in Uganda.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, your business must:

1. Be female-led and legally registered in Uganda for at least two years
2. Have an annual turnover of at least UGX 50M
3. Employ a majority of women
4. Have existing financial records
5. Operate in one of the following sectors:

• • Sustainable Agriculture
  • Renewable Energy
  • Circular Economy
  • Waste Management
    Be registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB)
    Be operating in Kampala, Mukono, or Wakiso
