Are you an aspiring entrepreneur passionate about solving Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) challenges? The MajiPreneurs Hackathon is a two-day intensive event designed to help young innovators develop or refine business solutions for WASH-related challenges affecting vulnerable communities.

• Fast-Track Training – Learn the fundamentals of launching a successful WASH business.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, you must:

• Be between 18-30 years old.
• Apply as a team of 2-4 members (individual applications are not accepted).
• Have a business idea in the WASH sector or be willing to develop one.
• Clearly identify a specific WASH challenge you want to address.
• Be available for the Hackathon (April 1-2) and Majipreneurs Summit (April 3-4) in Kampala.

Application Process:

1. Form a team of 2-4 people.
2. Identify a WASH-related challenge you want to address.
3. Describe your motivation for joining and any relevant experience.
4. Submit one application per team before March 9, 2025.

Selection Process

• Applications will be reviewed by a jury from leading WASH organizations.
• Selection results will be announced within 10 days after the application deadline.
• Winning teams will present their ideas at the Majipreneurs Summit and compete for awards!

Hackathon Highlights

• 2 days of intensive training on building a business in the WASH sector.
• Coaching sessions with experienced entrepreneurs.
• Final pitch event at the Majipreneurs Summit on April 4, 2025.
• Awards & support for the best solutions.
