The Employment Promotion for Women for the Green Transformation in Africa (WE4D), implemented by GIZ and funded by BMZ, the EU, and Norway, is supporting companies in green sectors to adopt Integrated Management Systems (IMS) certification.

Program Objectives:

• Strengthen business capacities of women-led enterprises through training, coaching, and mentorship.
• Promote revenue growth and employment in sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, eco-tourism, and other green sectors.
• Support enterprises in adopting ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

• SMEs in green sectors (agriculture, renewable energy, eco-tourism, etc.).
• 4–100 employees with annual turnover between $3,000 – $105,000.
• Registered with relevant compliance bodies.
• Women-owned or women-led (51%+ shareholding by women).
• Willing to financially contribute to certification ($560 for IMS, $280 per standard).
• Must be willing to recruit interns.

Benefits for Selected Companies:

• Two participants will receive in-depth IMS training.
• One participant will gain internal auditing skills.
• Coaching and mentorship to help implement IMS standards.
• Top companies will receive support for certification in ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
