Description

The Amazon Devices Climate Tech Accelerator is a 16-week, equity-free program designed to help climate tech companies scale their innovations into millions of Amazon devices. The program provides direct access to Amazon Devices and Services decision-makers, personalized coaching, mentorship, and valuable business resources from Amazon, MIT Solve, and Newlab.

Participants will join an intensive bootcamp, collaborate with Amazon’s technical experts to validate their solutions, and pitch for a chance to reach Amazon’s global customer base. The program ends with a final pitch event that could launch commercial discussions for mass deployment.

    Innovations that reduce energy consumption in devices like speakers, displays, and cameras—focus on components like sensors and microphones.

  2. Displays
    Solutions for decarbonizing displays from manufacturing to recycling.

  3. Device Batteries
    Innovations that extend battery life, increase recycled content, and minimize environmental impact.

  4. Low Carbon Materials
    Use of sustainable materials such as CPOM, recycled metals, bioplastics, and more.

  5. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
    AI-based tools that improve product design, energy efficiency, and lifespan.

  6. Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
    Eco-friendly PCB innovations like biodegradable or 3D-printed boards.

  7. Circularity
    Solutions that promote recycling, reuse, and closed-loop manufacturing for Amazon devices.

  8. Devices Decarbonization Wildcard
    Open to other impactful decarbonization technologies not listed above.

  • March 18 – Applications open

  • June – Shortlist applicants notified
